  8. Hi Yuri I appreciate this video so much. I'm 32 and July 2014 I had surgery on my lateral meniscus in my right knee which was torn and about 60-70% of my lateral meniscus was removed on the day of surgery I was 197lbs after making a lifestyle change in 2011 to be a better role model for my son and losing almost 100 lbs (starting weight Jan 2011 was 289lbs and I have been obese majority of my life) . I lost a majority of the 100 lbs doing zumba which I love because I love to dance about a yr after doing zumba I began weight training. Now since surgery July 2014 I have gained basically all my weight back and I haven't been pain free for 24hrs since…. I've had two surgeons tell me I will never walk without pain again and even one suggesting a TKR …. I am a dancer and not dancing for almost 2 yrs is adding to my chronic depressing and aniexty (I was diagnosed 15 yrs ago) …. I have read injured myself twice since surgery both times because after a few months of physio I get excited and go all out back to my old routines Hugh intense zumba and aerobics … I'm not told I have osteoarthritis in both knees chondromalacia patella in both knees the remaining lateral meniscus is torn and I have a hairline frature in my ACL of my right knee… I am again working out 3 times a week but really minor things and only bring like 50 -100 calories per workout …. I happy I found your page I would love to keep getting information about training with different knee problems my goal is to dance again and hopefully run with my young son.
