For many people who make the switch to a vegan diet, weight loss is inevitable. However, just because it’s vegan doesn’t mean that it’s healthy 🙂

In order to lose weight and maintain your bodies ideal weight you need to:
1. Have a nutrient dense diet. Base your meals around vegetables, especially greens.
2. Avoid or limit oil, and opt for the whole food.
3. Don’t eat processed vegan foods.
4. Eat fermented foods like kimchi, sauerkraut, miso, tempeh, etc…
5. Get plenty of sleep, and stay avoid stress as much as possible.

  13. I'm going to be lifting weights soon, so I will keep the oil, at least the avocado anyway. However, I am not yet a full vegan so I am slowly weaning myself off and instead of making homemade vegan lunches for work instead of buying ready-made alternatives.

Yes, I too am guilty of jumping from weight loss plan to others as well, I do believe that I need to have tried every fat loss system that was available, however in the end not one of them made it easier for me to lose and maintain the weight off.
