  3. Its not rocket science. I had pre-diabetes a year ago and now my A1C is super low (healthy low). Avoid carbs, that's it. I had more fish, and salads. I still ate chicken and stake (once in a while for the stake) avoid eating a lot of pasta, that's it. Buy a glucose monitor to monitor your blood sugar. I also avoid cake and ice cream. I had cake like once for the whole year and ice cream a few times. All you need to do. I got pre-diabetes because i ate a lot at one time to gain weight, at the same time was eating a lot of carbs so that was the reason why. I am 5'7 135 now but when i was pre diabetic, i was 156. Im fine with my weight now. 135 was when i started eating a lot.

  9. 50% seems kinda low to me as well as the 11% average weight loss. Outside of the outliers with other medical/genetic issues the Keto diet(and more so with Carnivore), if done properly, should correct Prediabetics at the 80 to 90 percentile range. Perhaps this is more related to how the study was conducted?

  13. I don't see how normalized blood sugar 50% after 2 years is so impressive. Dr Roy Taylor's low cal protocol can achieve blood sugar normalization in 1 week and full reversal of T2D and visceral fat (fatty liver) in 8 weeks, for the vast majority of people who have only been diabetic for a few years (i.e. those whose remissive beta cells haven't yet died off). Read his book "Living without diabetes" or refer to the Counterpoint study.

  14. Am pre-diabetic. Have been on keto for 3 years. It alone has not changed my blood sugar. Using fasting and keto are lowering my glucose. I have to fast at least twice a week at least 36 hours.
