  2. I literally saw a difference with your advice in just two weeks. I was doing stairs almost every day for months and plateaued twice. I was climbing at literally 7 speed, and would have to clean the whole machine from my pool of sweat and still after a few months I lost little to no weight, just got knee pain. Every advice I saw told me to cut calories lower but I was already at 1500-1600 and starving. All I did was switch my program to weight training and ate more protein, and I broke my 2 month plateau in 9 days. I have no idea why everyone is getting butt hurt. You didn’t say stop cardio all together. You simply said it shouldn’t center your weight loss, but rather supplement it. What’s so hard about that to understand? When I told other gym goers about my new weight loss plan to center weight lifting literally everyone who had success in fitness, affirmed it.

  3. I started weight lifting but I'm the heaviest I have ever been and it made the scale go up 5 lbs. I don't think mentally I can deal with the scale going up 😅 Will calisthenics/body weight build muscle with the same benefits?

    I've been doing 15-30 minutes strength with 20-30 minutes of cardio afterwards. And started 10,000 steps a day.

    Any advice?

  4. I was just doing weights. Then the last couple of years I started struggling with a high heart rate when doing heavy weights and in summer I would even get palpitations when trying to lift weights. I will also run out of steam a lot of times unable to finish my workout. It was pretty depressing, to say the least. All of that went away when I started running 3 times a week. I can now lift heavy and I have so much more energy and stamina than before.

  5. I have background in mma, wrestling & 4 me i like cardio & lifting weights with stretching also cuz 2 me that feels great 4 me in my opinion
