There is so much information out there on weight loss and nutrition, that it’s become too confusing for people to understand which plan is the ‘right plan’ for them.

And as a doctor, I see it all… The patients that have tried a January health kick and have failed by March and are feeling really miserable. The patients that are too afraid to set foot in a gym. Patients that are feeling lonely and disconnected, so they turn to food.

So that’s why I think it’s really problematic that so many ‘weight loss plans’ are sold as a one size fits all solution to all of our problems. The reality is that all of us are different and have different lifestyles and preferences. when, in reality, not many people – if any! – could stick to someone else’s plan day in, day out for the rest of their lives.

  1. I think eating plant based, routine in every day, walking more than sitting, focus on sleep and rest. My passion is diseases and health. There are small changes that everyone can take and this will influence their weight, but they have to want it their selves. You can not change others, only yourself. Give the best example and hopefully everyone will follow. Much love. xx

  2. The only question I need an answer to is how to cope with feelings other than by eating chocolate. That's what I'm working on.
