  1. This makes so much sense. I was doing a training program a couple months ago and the meal plan + workouts left me in absolute exhaustion to the point where my body shut down and I could not get myself to exercise for another two weeks following that program. This coach "doesn't believe in rest days." It was a bit much. Finally, I started to get into running, but after getting shin splints and feeling fatigued I've reverted back to walking. I did see a holistic doctor not too long after my program and she specifically mentioned cortisol. I truly believe this!! I aim for 30 mins of walking per day and I feel energized & refreshed afterwards. I've done it all in the last few years but I feel walking is definitely the best fit for me.

  2. walking is not exercise. any fit person telling you that is selling something, committing a logical fallacy because they have good genetics, or just looking for attention because of a personality disorder.

  3. We had a big running event today in vienna..
    And most people there should not run.. They are destroying their knees because they are overweight..
    Professional runners are super light, they can run long distances..
    Especially the slowest runners where struggling to such an extreme level that it just looked unhealthy..
    Walking on the other hand, you can do for hours.. Take a shower, go to sleep and you feel great..
