  2. in my late twenties , i swam 90 minutes mondays wednesdays and fridays and did weight training on tuesdays and thursdays and saturdays .i did that for 3 months .i got lean and muscular. i ate clean most days of the week . grilled fish and chicken with brown rice.

  3. I just had a pool put in at my house. 36ft long by 18ft wide. I realized pretty quickly that 45 minutes a day kills your back and lats.

    I did get a full face snorkel which helped because you can stay under water the entire time plus go much further. I did 20 laps today and was beat. That was after regular back workout though.

  4. I've lost 15 pounds in 2 months. But that's because I've strictly dieted and swimming twice and day and lifting weights 4 times per week. Feels good to get rid of the useless weight i put on during the height of covid lockdowns!

  5. I do not lose my weight. I can swim like before the pandemic situation. Maybe a little less. What would be a good time for swimming for 4 to 5 times a week, or maybe less?

  9. Can we drink protein shake after a swimming workout and not have a meal or protein shake and have a light meal

  10. I wasn’t hungry after 40 minutes of drill in pool (newbie) because I am not good and strong enough to not take a breather after each lap. I have been doing pool time 6 days a week since 7/1. I may lose 5 pounds approx. but I dropped a dress size. I cook each meal therefore I eat pretty healthy and lean. I use paddles half of the time to get my upper body stronger. Our pool is heated to 75 degrees all year round. It was a little cold in cooler months when entering but body gets used to it. My neighbor lost 80 pounds since last July. She’s doing laps faithfully 6 days a week. She looks like a model right now, lean muscle and all.
