The Fastest Way to Lose Weight is Amputation but Don't Do That

This video is just to address a very common question I get.

It’s not meant to anger anyone or try to be clickbait. It’s just to try to encourage people to think about their long-term results and not focus on sacrificing health for speed.

By the way, if “eat less” is not working for you, my favorite way to lose FAT is to just put on some extra muscle. Growing the large muscles of the body with squats, deadlifts, and pullups really increases the energy demands of the body, which can put you in a caloric deficit even if your diet remains the same. I’ve found it can make a big difference.

  1. I wasn't sure what to title this video. I didn't want to call it "The Fastest Way to Lose Weight" because it may seem like clickbait. It's just meant to address a VERY common question I get.

By the way, if "eat less" is not working for you, my favorite way to lose FAT is to just put on some extra muscle. Growing the large muscles of the body with squats, deadlifts, and pullups really increases the energy demands of the body, which can put you in a caloric deficit even if your diet remains the same. I've found it can make a big difference.

  2. Oh my god, I think I really needed to hear this. I feel guilty for not exercising as much before but I needed someone to tell me that it might not be possibly healthy to try and lose weight fast. I don't want to resort to starving myself or "eating less" and end up fainting due to iron deficiency. I'm glad you encouraged your audience to find a routine and not to rush things. I feel much more relieved and happier hearing it, and that I have my whole life to just take it slow. Thanks :)❤️

  3. "Things that come easy
    Go away quickly too"

Well, that's what happened to me. I was ashamed of my body and wanted to lose weight as quick as possible, so, I started cutting down calories. I kept taking off calories off my diet until I realised I was eating 250 cal a day and worrying about the calories in that one extra slice of cucumber I ate.
I did lose weight tho, I lost 11 kg in a little over 2 months but it wasn't at all sustainable, my physical and mental health got really bad and I soon hit a plateau, I wasn't eating but wasn't losing weight anymore. I couldn't take it anymore, quit, binged a lot and then gained all the weight back.

It's been half a year since then and I'm trying to learn to be a bit kinder to myself and trying to focus more on having a healthy lifestyle than trying to hate myself into a skinny version of myself.
I've quit rice — I'm asian, it's a big deal ( T ~T) —and currently trying to limit my sugar intake plus I've started calisthenics because Hampton's the best motivator!

  4. Yep, that’s the skinny. After years of wishing for an easy solution, I’m a convert to eating healthy (eliminating sugar and processed foods) and regular exercise. I finally took this approach because of health and mobility needs but, how I wish I had done this 20 years ago. It’s not THAT hard and, man, how much better I feel! Thanks for your common sense suggestions that I use to help me stay committed to my health goals.😻

  5. I noticed that dancing to favorite songs (kpop choreographies which aren't as easy as they seem) 2 or 3 times a week for months help me stay healthy and with energy!

  6. I was over 400, 6 years of work I am at 260. It's slow. Don't rush it. Fast weight loss leaves sagging skin and liver damage.

  7. Bro, not sure if you get comments like this often or not, but you’re a pretty amazing dude. If your not faking it, you have an amazing mindset and help people with every video you do, me included. Thanks man

  8. Wanna lose weight? Do a caloric deficit. A caloric deficit is when you eat less calories than you’re burning a day. If you need to eat 2500 calories a day to maintain your weight, then eat 2100-2300 calories a day. A loss of 200 calories a day for a week is 1400 calories or 5600 a month. To lose a pound of fat you need to burn 3500 calories, so you’d lose like a pound and a half of fat a month if you lost 200 calories a day. Need to gain muscle or weight? Eat more calories than you burn!

  9. Bro this guy is like really the nicest person i have ever found on youtube and its much apreciated. You too have a wonderfull day my friend
