  3. Your video just blew me away. I have type 2 diabetes as well. My blood sugar stays perfect as long as I don't eat bread, potatoes, rice, etc. If I'm going to eat that, then I have to exercise. I'm on Oxempic, which makes my blood sugar go down pretty quickly if I walk or exercise. I haven't been given insulin. My original A1C when I was diagnosed was over 13! I was able to bring it down to under 6 within six months by cutting out sugar and simple carbs. I took Metformin, but it gave me really bad side affects. Right now I'm a WW member, but I haven't been following it. I really want to lose weight so I can be healthy, but it's so difficult! I'm looking on YouTube for advice on applying WW to lose weight with insulin resistance. I tried Keto, which really helped with the insulin resistance and lost some weight, but after a CAT scan, I was devasted to learn I had mild arteriosclerosis – which I did not have prior to doing Keto! ARGH!!

  5. Just watched your video. And while I am much older than you I am in the exact same boat. I just found out I have type two diabetes and I have a lot of the symptoms from it. Iā€™m making lifestyle changes including going back to WW and realized that my life depends on it. It is about health this time. I found your video very grounding and inspirational. Thank you for sharing your story

  6. Just found your channel. I was diagnosed with Type 2 a couple years ago. My A1C was 11.4. I took it seriously for a while, but then fell off the wagon, life happened & I didn't care anymore. I just joined WW again and I have a plan. I see a new Endocrinology office at the end of this month & I am thinking about starting a channel to journal my "journey". Thanks for the inspiration.

  7. I'm much older than you are but I just had my 6mos check up a few week ago and I was told i was pre diabetes and that scared me, diabetes was the scariest thing to me. I have high blood pressure but i can deal with that diabetes was something different, I told myself i had to do something I have loss weight before just counting calories but I would deprive myself off all kinds of foods, so when I would started back eating just say it wasn't pretty. I started WW last week and so far so good, i'm learning a lot about myself and food. Thank you
