  1. Don't pick on republican politicians. Dems are huge receivers of food lobby campaign funding. Nothing changes because it's a uniparty thing. No party is advocating for this. What is Obama, Clinton, Biden doing to change this? Absolutely nothing. What prevents them from taking up the issue right now? Clinton two terms, Obama two terms, Biden 2 years and nothing from them.

    The Speaker has although emphasized that the book specifically mentions about Author's "her" experience of quitting sugar. All over the globe people varying from different climates and regions their experience might differ.

    I'm concerned about the other foods that might do as harm as sugar, as well. Saturated fats, other foods that might as well cause issues.

    Besides Nutritional trends & Expert consensus always evolves with time, cutting down other things might have their own backlash on our lives, some other long term effects that yet we are unaware of.

    Although human digestive needs are way complex still beyond our grasp, we try to simply it and that's where the trouble becomes.

    I'm a STEM graduate but yeah I have been hell lot of food conscious, reading literature finding out the who's funding the research also other associated risk factors biases and distortion introduced by current Marketing and Industrialisation trends.
