  2. # Drink water; #2 walk a lot, # 3 cut your meals in 1/2 and snack on light items. #4 do weight lifting and cardio 3-5 days a week for at least 20 min. # 5 stay active. All in all it’s life style change your life.

  3. PSA that anorexia isn’t a diet it’s a mental illness that requires professional help. You cant just decide to stop and it isn’t a diet plan.

  4. Don't lump potatoes together with white bread or pasta. White bread and pasta are just flour, potatoes have a lot of nutrients and the calories of potatoes are nowhere near those of bread or pasta. Potatoes fill you up, they are your friends

  5. I didn’t realize it until I started my weight loss journey, but I don’t know how to listen to my body anymore. I eat until my plate is empty, no more no less. I’m trying to be more mindful when I eat, putting my phone down, enjoying my food and being grateful, while also taking breaks from my meal to gauge how I’m feeling. It sounds weird, but I try to act like Remy from Ratatouille when I eat. Really pay attention to the different tastes and smells and colors.

  7. The dad thing about the "anorexic" guy is that he wouldn't be diagnosed with anorexia because of his weight which is sad (you have to be underweight to be considered anorexic)

  8. Weight and measure your food. Your calorie intake may higher than you think. Just averaging an extra 100 calories a day will give you 10lbs of weight gain per year, it's a fine line between weight loss and weight gain.

  9. I'm 10 pounds down in a month and a half and I haven't restricted sugar or white foods. That's way too restrictive for me and I'm sure for others also

  10. Upbringing. If your raised to think a small amount of food is normal, it's hard to break.

    Other than that, I'd say good posture. Old fashioned grandma. She wasn't rich but she had posh manners. Gravity and digestion work well together.

    I used to binge on sweets and snacks because I was like "OK, I'll eat this now and then I throw away whatever I have left because I will not eat it anymore in the future, I wanna be healthy"

    Now I can just eat a portion of chocolate, ice cream, chips etc for about 150-300 kcal and be sure that I can also eat some the next day.

    If I cut out sugar, I'd just be back at binging.

  12. my number one tip is to definitely not follow any of these. air only! and water. went from 167 to 107 in 3 months!

  13. Cravings usually last 10 minutes or less. At least for me. If you’re gonna eat something questionable wait 10 minutes before you decide
