  1. I don't soak my beans. I've forgotten so many would be dishes and ordered out because I tried to soak them. I just sort them, submerge them in water and pick out the broken ones and floaters, and at most quick soak in boiling water for an hour. If I try to do it the day before, I end up ordering out because I forgot what I decided to have last night (ah, scatterbrainedness!), so I need to have an option to get it done late in the game.

    Instant pot beans have turned out to be some of the best beans I've ever had, and I can control the salt content too. Love that thing.

    Mine lives on my counter because I use it at least a couple times a week.

  2. Best dam chickpeas I ever made,! They were my first food to try making in this pot. Kept eating them as I prepped to make hummus. I bought it to replace my old rice cooker and it has become one of my go to kitchen gadgets. Thanks for great nutritional info and yummy recipes. And usually making me laugh and smile. That’s always good.
